Why bone art?

I grew up in a hunter/gatherer family. I was raised fishing, trapping and hunting. Honouring each animals has always been something we practice and that was taught to me from a young age.

In a way, I am continuing their lives & I try my best to recreate the surroundings of their natural habitat by incorporating foraged materials from their final resting stage.

Whether it be meat, fur or bones, honouring the entire animal is what is beautiful to me.
